Viewing Album:  NS H-81 Pascack Valley Line, Seamans & Ford Leads

Album Info:This Norfolk Southern local is based out of Croxton Yard, NJ, and operates on New Jersey Transits' Pascack Valley Line. The Seamans Lead begins at Park Place East and Blum Blvd, and heads east to serve customers such as Atlantic Plywood. Heading north to Teterboro, just south of I-80, The Ford Lead heads east to serve the current active customer, AGFA. The Ford parts distribution warehouse and Stone Container have closed. North of The Ford Lead, the ONLY remaining customer is Kuiken Bros, in Emerson, NJ. If the local has only one engine, it is necessary to run up to West Pond Siding MP 27.7 at Convent Road in Nanuet, NY to run around their train. This is a distance of approx. 8 miles each way. This affords a unique opportunity to capture the train passing the majority of the line between Teterboro, NJ and Nanuet, NY.
